Hi-Tech Rooms
Information Services has partnered with UNO colleges and departments to install and support over 180 classrooms, labs and auditoriums across campus with advanced technology products to enhance instruction. There rooms are commonly referred to as Hi-Tech rooms. Each room provides installed large format projection or display systems to display digital content of computer applications, web sites and DVDs. ‘Document presenters’ are available in most of these rooms for display of papers, books and transparencies. VHS tape display systems are provided as well. Here's a list of software available in the rooms.
Instructors who wish to schedule a hi-tech classroom should talk with their departmental scheduling contact and the UNO Associate Director of the Registrar to schedule these rooms. Operational training for hi-tech classrooms can be arranged by calling IS Customer Services at 554.4357. See the listing below for hi-tech room locations.
