WEPA

Information Services introduces WEPA - the Wireless Everywhere, Print Anywhere solution for student printing on the UNO campus. Seventeen printer kiosks are located across campus and use your UNO NetID and MavCard for authentication and payment, just like in the present printing solution. A maps button on each kiosk will show the locations of all the printers. Here's a PDF explaining Printing with WEPA at UNO.

WEPA Printing

WEPA is a software platform that utilizes a cloud printing environment across a network of wireless touch-screen printing kiosks. It provides the ideal environment for printing documents on-the-go from any location - at home, your dorm room, even the Pep Bowl! You can produce your document here at UNO and print it out at any WEPA kiosk across the USA or around the world!

How do I print to a WEPA printing kiosk?

  • One way - like now – in an open computer lab on campus. Complete your document, go File>Print and choose the WEPA printer. After selecting Print, go the nearest WEPA kiosk, swipe your MavCard for payment, log in, choose the files you want and print your documents!

  • Secondly, you can go to the WEPA website at http://www.wepanow.com from your personal laptop or other computer and log in. You can download the WEPA printer drivers onto your computer for later use just like any other printers installed on your laptop. Again, after printing, go to any WEPA kiosk, swipe your MavCard for payment, log in, choose the files you want and print your documents!

  • If you have your documents on a USB drive, insert it into a WEPA kiosk, select the documents to be printed, select your payment method and print them. Again, it’s that simple!

  • And lastly – you can log in at the WEPA website and upload to the cloud the documents you wish to print. While this method works fine, WEPA encourages you to download and install their printer drivers to better enhance your printing experience.

NOTE: All UNO students will be pre-registered in WEPA in the same manner as they are now for printing and other campus services. Only if you are a guest on the UNO campus will you be required to register an account at the WEPA website.
